Join us for Swing Jazz Wednesday at The Argo, a new weekly tradition bringing live swing to Milwaukee's North Shore — one band, one night, every Wednesday.
Old Sam and The Teardrops is a local swing group known for tight arrangements, vintage tones, and an easygoing stage presence. Whether you’re a dancer, jazz listener, or just looking for a reason to get out midweek, this night was built for you.
Swing Jazz Wednesdays are casual, welcoming, and all about the music. Come as you are, grab a seat and listen, or dance the night away. Join us for free swing dance lessons starting at 6:00 PM! Whether you’re a total beginner or just want to brush up your moves, this is the perfect chance to get into the rhythm before the show. Come early, learn something new, and hit the dance floor with confidence!
Doors at 6:00pm. Music at 7:00pm. Full bar service will be available throughout the event, with the kitchen being open 4-close.

The Buzzed Bee is a friendly, but competitive spelling competition for adults, hosted by Dan Pappas. The rules are simple, spell your word right or you're out. However, there's one simple catch: you have to have a beverage in your hand.
Whether you're a solo wordsmith or you're trying to convince your friends that you are the best at spelling, The Buzzed Bee is your ticket to an evening that is a refreshing change of pace and you'll want to bring your whole hive!
This is a 21+ event.

Slick back your hair, grab your leather jacket, and step into a night inspired by everyone’s favorite retro high school romance (you know the one). Join us for a look-alike contest celebrating iconic ‘50s style—think poodle skirts, cat-eye shades, and cool-kid swagger.
Come grab dinner before the movie starts! Be dressed to impress for your shot at prizes and sing along to all those unforgettable tunes without us having to say the name.

Politics. Hatred. Endless war. We doomscroll as our rights are stripped away. Bombings. Kidnappings. Mass shootings. The nightly news is a litany of brutality. Assassination. Subjugation. Deportation. We argue with each other while the rich get richer and cruelty is normalized. These are just a few of the reasons why the title of The Casualties’ new album is Detonate.
“It stems from being overloaded,” drummer Marc “Meggers” Eggers says. “You feel like your head is about to explode, which I think is what everybody is feeling these days. You’re pounced on day by day with terrible news and social media, and you just feel like you’re going to snap.”
“Not too long ago, we were stuck in COVID,” guitarist Jake Kolatis adds. “Now we're trying to get back to normal life, and the world has gone crazy. There are continuous wars and internal political battles here. Everybody's tearing each other apart. Detonate is saying we’re tired of all this division. With this record, we have a chance to say something and promote some type of unity.”
Detonate is the second chapter in a new epoch for The Casualties. As their second album with David Rodriguez at the mic, it solidifies the vocalist’s partnership with Meggers and Kolatis. “It’s like a new era for the band,” Meggers says. “It solidifies that Dave is here to stay.”

The Casualties: Detonate Tour w/ The Drowns & Lash Out

Join us at the Argo for an unforgettable evening of culinary creativity and collaboration. This exclusive pop-up dinner, curated by Chef Bailey Troyer and Chef Isaac Bahn, brings together two distinct perspectives for a thoughtfully crafted dining experience.

Guests will enjoy an elegant 8-course prix fixe menu, inspired by Korean flavors and traditions, while showcasing seasonal ingredients and refined technique. Each course tells a story—blending bold, vibrant elements with delicate balance and modern interpretation. From the first bite to the final course, the evening unfolds as a dynamic journey through flavor, culture, and innovation.

This intimate event will be offered during two seatings—4:30 PM and 7:00 PM—allowing guests to choose the experience that best fits their evening. Seating is limited, ensuring a personal and immersive atmosphere.

For those looking to elevate the experience even further, optional wine pairings are available for an additional $35, thoughtfully selected to complement and enhance every dish.
